Bipolar DC and induced voltage detector 750 - 3600 V DC

Application:

On catenary lines, there are many disturbance voltages coming from neighboring lines. This can lead to very high induced voltages, especially if the weather
or polluted air. This detector detects both real and induced voltage 750 - 3600 V DC.

Use:

Correct operation of the device is verified by :

  • Pressing the test button triggers the red and orange LEDs to light up, and the audible signal to sound;
  • Releasing the test button triggers the timed lighting-up of the green LEDs, indicating correct operation of the detector. They go out as soon as the red LEDs light up if voltage is present, or after 2 minutes.

Place the hook in contact with the catenary or power line, and the magnetic shoe in contact with the rail:

  • Real voltage: red LEDs light up, with audible signal.
  • Induced voltage: green LEDs light up and orange LEDs flash with audible signal.

Composition:

  • Connection cable: 10 m.
  • Hook for contact with catenary.
  • Handle with magnetic shoe for easy use and connection to the rail.
  • Powered by one 9 V alkaline battery, type 6 LR 61.
  • Weight: 3.5 kg
