Insulating boots nominal voltage 35 kV

Application :

  • Special boots that provide electrical insulation to protect operators against the risk of ground-step voltage during a phase-to-ground default during an intervention.
  • Also to be used as soon as there is a risk of moisture impregnation for leather shoes.
  • Undervoltage work on networks with a nominal voltage ≤ 35KV, i.e. a maximum single phase-to-ground network voltage of 12 KV.

Features :

  • Complies with the EDF technical specification : ST HTA 70B ind B - 2003.
  • Steel toe cap and base conforming to EN 345 standard.
  • Type of elastomers: NB, NBR, IR.
  • ATS sole (all ground adhesion). Coefficient of adhesion greater than 0.15 according to NFS 73012 standard.
  • Entirely moulded. The risk of the upper/sole detachment is eliminated.
  • Anti-fatigue "U" shaped heel, high shock absorption, over 20 joules and protects the spine.
  • Front and back support with grip grooves for steeply sloping ground.
  • Optimum cleat clearance to prevent mud accumulation.
  • Non-slip cambered bars for ladder work.
  • Unit control (boot immersed in water up to 10 cm from the top of the shaft). Maximum leakage current: 7 mA at 13 000 V (between phase and earth) for 1 minute.
  • Brown colour.
  • Dimensions: 60 x 210 x 460 mm.
